Is it any wonder why the leaders of this nation failed to prevent the usurpation of the power of its highest office without even verifiably qualifying the individual assuming the office? Even the members of Obama's most prolific political opposition remain lost, ignorant and, tragically, accepting about his ambiguously legitimate, but obviously radical, identity.
On Tuesday, March 01, 2011, in a New York radio interview with WOR’s Steve Maltzberg, former Republican Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee mistakenly, but not surprisingly, stated multiple times that Barack Obama grew up in Kenya. Huckabee seemed to be invoking this false fact in order to qualify his belief that Obama’s geographic upbringing has spurred his anti-American orientation in favor of collective internationalism.
Despite the remaining, as yet undocumented, possibility of being born in the African nation, Barack Obama did not grow up in Kenya. He grew up as an adopted citizen in the muslim nation of Indonesia until approximately 1971 when he allegedly returned to Hawaii, apparently without ever being re-naturalized as a U.S. citizen and without renouncing his Indonesian citizenship. Both of these circumstances would disqualify Obama from the office of the presidency if the Constitutional mandate were to ever be applied to him and enforced in U.S. court. However, he remains a fugitive from this standard.
Huckabee's failure to accurately recount facts about Obama’s personal history is not only a product of the vast and pathetic ignorance about the issue by our ruling class, it is the result of America’s lack of willingness to uphold the honorability of our blood-ransomed, Constitutional freedoms and right to establish the rules for American leadership eligibility.
“Mike’s misstatements are a perfect example of the willful lack of awareness about Obama’s identity,” says Marian Taylor, an expert in media accuracy with a Philly consulting agency, “It’s not as if people like the “Huckster” don’t possess the available resources to carry out the necessary investigation to get this crap right, they just simply are too cowardly to do it for fear of being politically marginalized. It makes me sad for America.”
Taylor went on to say that unless people of influence and power are willing to embrace the metrics of this issue and weigh the facts on their merit, she fears the worst for America’s future.
“Accepting plurality in our national identity is not in the best interest of our future,” she said, “we have no recourse once we have diminished that costly vestige. History has shown that when nations fail to enforce their authenticity, they become enslaved and diminished.”
In the radio interview, Huckabee was responding to Malzberg, who asked, "How come we don't have a health record, we don't have a college record, we don't have a birth certificate? Why, Mr. Obama, did you spend millions of dollars in courts all over this country to defend against having to present a birth certificate? It's one thing to say, 'You've seen it. Goodbye.' But why go to court and send lawyers to defend against having to show it? Don't you think we deserve to know more about this man?"
"I would love to know more, but what I know is troubling enough. One thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, was very different than the average American,” responded Huckabee.
Huckabee made the comments in reference to Obama’s flippant return of a sculpture of former Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, which was lent to President Bush by former Prime Minister Tony Blair after 9/11.
Huckabee went on to say about Obama’s dismissive act in returning….”the bust of Winston Churchill was a great insult to the British. But then if you think about it, his perspective as growing up in Kenya with a Kenyan father and grandfather, their view of the Mau Mau Revolution in Kenya is very different than ours because he probably grew up hearing that the British were a bunch of imperialists who persecuted his grandfather."
"He despises the West, he despises the Brits, and I think he can take it all out on Israel," interjected Malzberg.
As reported by WND’s Joe Kovacs, a spokesman for Huckabee later told CBS News the former governor "meant to say the president grew up in Indonesia."
"When the governor mentioned he wanted to know more about the president, he wasn't talking about the president's place of birth – the governor believes the president was born in Hawaii," Hogan Gidley told the network. "The governor would however like to know more about where President Obama's liberal policies come from and what else the president plans to do to this country – as do most Americans."
The problem with Gidley's excuse for Huckabee's gaffe is that Indonesia was a Dutch colony, not an exclusively British one like Kenya, which became an independent Muslim state in 1949, 12 years before Obama was even born. Huckabee is clearly linking Obama's world view to his association with Kenya's British colonial history, not Indonesia's. Obama's only association with Indonesia was his mother's marriage to an Indonesian.
Huckabee went on to address doubts many have about Obama's birth certificate, stating, "The only reason I'm not as confident that there's something about the birth certificate ... is because I know the Clintons and believe me, they have lots of investigators out on him, and I'm convinced if there was anything that they could have found on that, they would have found it, and I promise they would have used it."
“Huckabee’s lack of insight is common among his class. The Clinton’s are political animals subject to influence in favor of Obama even if they had knowledge about his ineligibility because it does them more harm to damage their party,” says Taylor.
"Obama will be gone someday. The democrat party will not. Damaging Obama meant killing Hilary’s chances at the White House because of her association with the party, not Obama. Bill and Hilary knew this then, and they know it now.”
It is difficult to imagine that a seasoned politician as worn as Mike Huckabee cannot possibly imagine that the Clintons, while engaged in a primary competition with Obama in 2008 would therefore actually go as far as to undermine the entire Democrat party in perpetuity with such a damaging revelation as an ineligible Democrat candidate serving as president.
“The GOP’s stupidity about this is laughable,” says Taylor, “this is a common truth for us out here in the real world. Even liberal politicians as immoral as the Clintons would suppress the truth to prevent destroying their own party. Hilary can still run for President in 2012 or, though a long shot, in 2016. People like them understand the value of the future over the value of a moment.”
Taylor’s concept is interesting. It’s hard to imagine that Huckabee actually believes that such an indictment against Obama would not damage the political reputation of any Democrat, let alone a scorned, androphobic former first-lady presidential wannabe like Hilary Clinton?
All of America’s high profile news agencies, including the Associated Press and CBS News, are falsely reporting that Obama has shown his Hawaiian birth certificate online. However, the internet image of Obama’s Hawaiian “Certification of Live Birth”, also known as a short-form birth registration notification, has been diminished by the fact that this document is commonly issued to foreign born children whose parents claimed Hawaii as their residence within a year of the birth, regardless of the actual geographic location of the birth.
What many in the public have been asking to see is the long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate, known as a Certificate of Live Birth, which includes details such as the name of the hospital, the names of informants and the name and signature of an attending physician at the time of the birth. Obama has never produced such documentation in support of his Constitutional eligibility to be president which states that a candidate for president must be “naturally born” in a geographic location which is under the legal protections of the U.S. Constitution to two U.S. citizen parents.
Many challengers of Obama’s eligibility rightfully argue that Obama was never eligible, regardless of his birthplace, because his alleged father, Barack Obama Sr., was never a U.S. citizen. This argument is based on the content of original documentation and writings by the framers of our founding doctrine who applied the language to the writing of the Constitution and, therefore, Article II governing the eligibility of presidents.
